Questions & Answers
General Questions
We work throughout Marion and Johnson counties, including Indianapolis, Greenwood, Center Grove, Southport, Franklin, Bargersville, and Mooresville. If you are just outside those areas, call and ask. We will tell you honestly whether we can service the property well on a weekly route.
Call us or fill out the estimate form. For recurring maintenance we can usually price from a measurement and a look at the property. For design build work we walk the site with you, talk through what you want to change, and put together a written proposal.
Recurring maintenance is priced per visit based on the actual size and complexity of the property, not a guess from a satellite photo. A tight fenced yard with heavy trimming takes longer than open acreage, and the price should reflect that in both directions. Project work is quoted per project after a site visit.
Yes. We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and our applicators are licensed for the treatments they apply. We can provide a certificate of insurance for commercial properties, HOAs, and property management companies on request.
Residential maintenance runs as a season long schedule so your property keeps its place on the route, but we are not in the business of trapping people. Commercial work is contracted per season or per year so budgets and scope are clear on both sides.
Invoices are sent electronically and can be paid online. Many clients keep a card on file so visits are billed automatically and nothing has to be chased. Commercial accounts can be invoiced monthly against a contract.
Questions & Answers
Lawn Care & Maintenance
Mowing at the right height for the season, edging along driveways, sidewalks, and curbs, string trimming around obstacles, and blowing off every hard surface. It is all in the visit price. See mowing and lawn maintenance for the full detail.
Weekly through the growing season. Indiana turf in May can outrun a ten day schedule entirely, and stretching the interval is what causes scalping and clumping. We may move to every other week during a dry stretch in late summer when growth genuinely slows.
We run a consistent route, so a rained out day pushes the schedule rather than skipping it. You will still be serviced that week in almost every case. We will not mow saturated turf and leave ruts across a lawn to hit a calendar date.
Mowing keeps a lawn tidy. Feeding and weed pressure are a separate problem. A thin, hungry lawn will keep losing ground to crabgrass and broadleaf weeds no matter how well it is cut. Our lawn treatment programs handle that side.
Early fall. Soil is warm, nights are cooling, and weed pressure is dropping, which is exactly what new seed needs. Central Indiana clay compacts hard over a summer, so core aeration and overseeding is the single highest value thing most lawns here get all year.
Questions & Answers
Landscaping & Project Work
Yes. We handle landscape design and installation with our own crews, so the person who drew the plan and the person building it are on the same team.
A straightforward patio is usually a few days on site once materials are staged. Larger projects with walls, drainage, or structures run longer. We give you a realistic window before we start rather than an optimistic one. Hardscape installation covers the process.
Often, yes. Heavy clay soil and flat lots are the usual culprits around here. Grading corrections, drains, and dry creek beds all have their place, and the right fix depends on where the water is coming from. We will tell you if a problem needs a specialist rather than selling you something that will not solve it.
Yes. HOAs, multifamily, retail, office, and industrial sites are a large part of our work. See commercial grounds maintenance for how those contracts are structured.
For commercial properties, yes. Snow services run on trigger depths agreed before the season so nobody is negotiating at four in the morning.
Still Have a Question?
