Work Outside, Finish the Day With Something to Show for It
PMT Lawn & Landscape has been growing every season since 2015, and we are hiring crew members because the routes keep filling up, serving Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. This is real work. You will be on your feet for hours, in Indiana heat in July and in wind and cold during fall cleanups. In exchange you get a crew that backs you up, equipment that is maintained instead of limped along, and a schedule that is set before the week starts rather than invented every morning.
We promote from within. Several of our crew leads started on a mower, learned the properties, and moved up as the company added routes and teams. If you want that path, tell us on the application and we will talk about it in the interview.
What We Look For
Applicant Requirements
Experience helps, but attitude decides it. We can teach someone to stripe a lawn or set a bed edge. We cannot teach someone to show up on time and care whether the walk got blown off before the truck pulls away.
- Valid driver's license
- Accountability and reliable attendance
- Ability to operate zero turn mowers, string trimmers, and backpack blowers
- Background knowledge in small landscaping projects such as mulching, stone, and shrub trimming
- Able to walk and stand on your feet for hours at a time
- Able to work in different climates and weather conditions
Open Roles
Where You Would Fit
Lawn maintenance crew member. Running a weekly route with a crew lead, mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing off hard surfaces. This is the fastest way into the company and the best way to learn the properties. See mowing and lawn maintenance for what those visits involve.
Landscape crew member. Mulch, stone, plantings, shrub trimming, and bed renovations, plus support on hardscape installs as you learn base prep and paver work.
Seasonal cleanup and aeration help. Spring and fall are our heaviest weeks. Cleanup and aeration and overseeding crews carry that load, and seasonal hires who work out are the first people we call for full time openings.
Commercial grounds crew member. Larger sites, earlier starts, and a mix of turf and bed work across commercial grounds maintenance accounts. Winter hours are available on snow and ice teams.
