Properties People Judge Before They Walk In
PMT Lawn & Landscape provides commercial grounds maintenance and commercial landscaping, serving Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. We work as the single landscape contractor of record on the properties we take on, and we bid and respond to RFPs on a normal procurement calendar. Call (317) 910-1257 to get a walkthrough and a scope built for your site, or request an estimate.
For a commercial property, the grounds are the first thing a tenant, a patient, a parent, or a customer evaluates, and they form that opinion before they reach the door. Overgrown bed lines, weeds in the parking lot cracks, and litter along the fence do more damage to a property's reputation than most facility budgets account for. The properties that always look right are not the ones spending the most. They are the ones on a program that gets executed on schedule.
Whether you call it commercial ground maintenance, grounds care, or landscape management, we build season-long programs with a defined scope and a service frequency for every line item, so you know what is happening and when. Our crews are uniformed, our equipment is maintained, and we work around tenant hours, bus schedules, patient access, and delivery windows rather than expecting the site to work around us. When something needs attention outside the scope, you hear about it from us before you hear about it from a tenant.
Scope of Work
What a Grounds Program Includes
Every item in a commercial ground maintenance scope is priced and scheduled, so the program is auditable. You should be able to look at an invoice and know exactly what was performed that month without calling anyone.
Programs are frequently paired with commercial lawn treatments, aeration and overseeding, and snow and ice management so one contractor carries the property year round. Fall commercial leaf removal runs on the same route so lots, walks, and storm inlets stay clear through the drop.
Properties that only need the turf side handled can start with commercial lawn care services and add bed work, seasonal color, and cleanups to the contract later.
- Mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing on a set frequency
- Fertilization and weed control programs for turf areas
- Mulching and bed maintenance, including seasonal top dressing
- Tree and shrub pruning on a schedule that suits the species
- Parking lot and hardscape weed control
- Litter and debris pickup on every visit
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Aeration and overseeding to keep turf competitive
- Snow and ice management through the winter

Design & Hardscape
More Than Maintenance When the Site Needs It
Sometimes maintaining a property well makes it obvious that part of it needs to be rebuilt. Tired entry beds, failing edging, a slope that erodes every spring, a walkway that has become a trip hazard. We handle that work too, through commercial landscape design and commercial hardscape installation.
Because the same company maintains the site, improvements are designed with the maintenance load in mind rather than creating a feature nobody can keep up with. Ongoing bed and plant care continues under commercial landscape maintenance.

The PMT Difference
A Lawn & Landscape Company You Can Trust
Homeowners, property managers, and facility teams across Johnson County keep working with us for the same handful of reasons.
01
We know Central Indiana ground
Heavy clay soil, cool-season turf, and Indiana's swing from wet spring to dry August all change how a property should be treated. We plan around the conditions we work in every day.
02
We treat the property like our own
Clean edges, blown-off walks, straightened bed lines. The details you would notice at your own house are the details we finish every visit with.
03
We show up on time and communicate
You know who is coming, when they are coming, and what happens next. From the first estimate through the last cleanup of the season.
04
5.0 stars across 300+ reviews
Locally owned since 2015, licensed, bonded, and insured. Big enough to serve, small enough to care.
Questions & Answers
Commercial Grounds Maintenance FAQs
We walk the site, measure turf and bed areas, and price the scope by service and frequency. Most clients prefer a flat monthly amount across the season so the budget is predictable, with snow billed separately by event or as a seasonal rate.
Yes. Schools, healthcare sites, and retail centers all have times when equipment cannot be running. We set the service window with you before the season starts and hold to it.
We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured, and we provide a certificate of insurance naming your entity as required for vendor onboarding.
We do, and using one contractor year round means the crew already knows the site layout, the drainage, and where not to pile snow. Plowing, salting, and walk clearing are quoted with the rest of the property scope.
Yes. You get a direct line to the person responsible for your property rather than a general voicemail box, which is the whole reason clients stay with a locally owned contractor.
Usually within a week or two of an approved scope, sooner if a current vendor has walked off mid-season. We will tell you honestly if a site needs a restorative cleanup before regular service makes sense.
